I wanted to point out to the class the right way to post a link.

This is the wrong way. "Prof. Sandeep's page is http://faculty.washington.edu/sandeep."

This is the right way. "Prof. Sandeep's page is here."

The second approach makes it much more readable. To do this, 1-select text, 2-click on the "insert link" icon in the post window (it is the one just after B and I- it looks like a globe with handcuffs- don't even ask) and 3-enter(or paste) the link in the dialog box that pops up.
